It's Not Easy....For Everyone to Find a Spouse.

DISCLAIMER: I am not an expert on Marriage or finding a Spouse. :)   Since I started doing these Marriage Matchmaking Events in Sept 2015, I have had many Singles call/text me and even approach me in person about their struggles of finding a spouse.  Some even cry to me.  And they still do this.  They want someone to listen and want to ask for advice.  Often, they think something is wrong with them or that they are doing something wrong because their friends are married with kids or the friends are getting married..............yet they themselves are still Single.  I hear all kinds of stories.  Some Singles find a Spouse quickly.  For others, it takes some time.  Some Singles get married in their 20s.  Some don't get married until they are in their 30s, 40's, etc.  That's is Allah's plan for your life and there's no way around it.  Some Sisters are worried about their "biological clock ticking", that time is "run...

KEEP AN OPEN MIND - GET TO KNOW PEOPLE FIRST - GIVE PEOPLE A CHANCE Some people ask why I put Never Married, Divorced/Widowed, those with Children, 20s & 30s all in the same room at our Events. Our Events welcome Singles that are Divorced/Widowed, those with children, etc. Some local Scholars said there is Wisdom in putting everyone in the same room to meet, and not grouping people for specific criteria. I will speak from personal experience below but I have MANY MORE exam ples to give. I myself was looking for an older husband, that was black, without children and that has US Citizenship or Greencard. My husband is a few years younger than me, is white Egyptian, has a daughter and we met when he was here only with a Business Visa. He didn't even have a Student or Work Visa....it was a Business Visa. He was the total opposite of what I was looking for. He was looking for a younger wife that was tall and skinny.
